Welcome Madeleine Therese!

At 10:18 am, Friday, the 10th of November, Madeleine Therese took her first breath of California air. Madeleine will be the first to be born out of Sioux Falls and the only one with a California birth certificate. She was 8lb 7oz and 19″ which is a pretty average Frederes size.

This is Actually Happening

There are last minute decisions in my life all the time, I plan outings spur of the moment, I babysit last minute, My family of 10 have left on a cross-country 2-week vacation with a 24hr notice. So, I am very used to changes and last minute decisions but this will be the fastest course of action I have seen yet. These next days will go by in a blur of boxes, stress, sweat, tears, and change.

On October 10th we received a call from our realtor, there was a family that wanted to look at our house the following morning. So we quickly got the house ready for a showing that night and went to bed. They came in the early morning and we all left to go have breakfast at Burger King and few blocks away. We were almost finished eating when my dads’ phone rings which is a normal occurrence so nobody pays any attention to the call that will change everyone’s lives. My dad hangs up the phone and says “they want to move-in November 1st.”

 

My Flowers

These are my flowers that I planted last fall.

 

  I have 12 out of 14 that bloomed, and next year I might have 24 tulips.  Two buds you cannot see.  One is behind the red tulip on the far left this one will be purple.  The other is to the side of the pinkish white one, this one will also be purple, next to the red one I just tolled you about.  It is really short.

So I will have five purple ones, three pinkish white ones, and four red ones.

 

  I am adding this on about five day later the white and yellow daffodil is still picture perfect.

 The daffodils lasted a week longer then I thought they would.                                                                                          

  Sarah even made me dig my own hole.   It was quite difficult because I was  gigging about 2 inches from her flowers.  And the entire time Sarah stood over me.  But, every time I thought that the hole was deep enough

New Camera

I bought a new camera yesterday, and it is hot pink.  It is very exciting for me to have a camera.  This morning I was practicing taking pictures and videos all over the house.   Now I won’t have to use my dad’s camera.   My camera has so many buttons and gadgets.  And now they will be my pictures.

New shoes

  These are my new shoes that I got last weekend.   We literally  went in to six or seven stores and these are the best we found.  I am not complaining about the shoes, but I was hoping for something a little more fancy.  The shoes were either too fancy, too high healed, too big, too small, or not comfy enough.  And that is only  half of it.   I can’t believe my size of shoes. I have the biggest girl feet in the family.   I wear a size eight shoes.  These are so comfortable.

 

New Blog

                Dad has set up my blog.  I can not wait to get started.

My sister Sarah thought of my blog name so I can’t get all the credit. I had a few names on the list but none of them had a ring to it, so I asked Sarah for help. Then she asked me a few questions about myself.  Then it happened, ohhh! I loved the sound of it…. Glitter and Glitz, it was wonderful.

I was reading Sarah’s first blog post when I noticed that I am almost younger then Landon and Sarah when they got their blog.  Sarah was 13 and Landon was 12. SHOOT! He got it first, but not by much!

Now a little about myself :My favorite color is blue and  I love cats, horses, jewelry, phone calls, getting mail, ballet, pre point, shopping, painting, having friends over, surprising my brothers and sister, drinking coffee, accessories, bowling, and of course maybe blogging.

Well that is my first blog post.

P.S. I will try to be a good blogger.
