New Camera

I bought a new camera yesterday, and it is hot pink.  It is very exciting for me to have a camera.  This morning I was practicing taking pictures and videos all over the house.   Now I won’t have to use my dad’s camera.   My camera has so many buttons and gadgets.  And now they will be my pictures.

Number notes

Daniel can count pretty high, but what is neat about his counting is that he goes up a scale of notes.  He goes 1 2 3 forty 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 8 and each time he goes one note higher.  It is just really neat.   And I think he will be a musician of some sort when he grows up.

New shoes

These are my new shoes that I got last weekend.   We literally  went in to six or seven stores and these are the best we found.  I am not complaining about the shoes, but I was hoping for something a little more fancy.  The shoes were either too fancy, too high healed, too big, too small, or not comfy enough.  And that is only  half of it.   I can’t believe my size of shoes. I have the biggest girl feet in the family.   I wear a size eight shoes.  These are so comfortable.

Wiggle wiggle

Joseph lost his first tooth today!!  Joseph is very happy.  He is especially happy because he is the youngest of the family to lose a tooth, and because I am putting it on my blog.  But there are still two more kids to lose teeth.   And he only found out his tooth was wiggly two or three days ago.  I have had loose teeth in for months before I could pull it out. Man, losing teeth is one thing I am not going to miss when I am done.  And he hasn’t even mentioned the tooth fairy…. hmmm. Bye.

Big Brother

This is Daniel and Sarah’s cabbage patch doll.   He thought that it was fun to have a, as he would say, “I’ve got a bebe dow on my back.”   I was very surprised that he kept it on so long.  He kept it on all of lunch!   And then took it to bed with him.  That’s what I call a good babysitter.

Chocolate chips

The other night I was sitting on the computer trying to figure out which blog theme I wanted. Then Jonathan came up behind me and said, “Maria look at what I found!”  So I turned around and he had 7 bags of chocolate chips in his arms!!  There were 2 big bags and 5 little ones.

Me or you?

Daniel saw that nobody was feeding the baby so he did.  He probably thought in his head, I must take responsibility myself and take charge, as you can see nobody’s feeding the baby so I will.  Or my self.          Even the baby was happy to be fed.YUMMY.

Not Woody Buzz

This is Daniel and I next to “Woody” in Minneapolis at the lego store.  Notice that Daniel is upset.  He is upset because he could not have the lego “Mater” that John so helpfully brought over for Daniel.  I tried as hard as I could to get his attention on something else. I asked Daniel if he would like a picture taken with a  lego woody figure.  But he did  not want a picture with “Woody”, he wanted “Buzz”. And alas, it did not work, until I said “Daniel, what color is this?” And he said, “Red.”  We did the color thing until the rest of us were all done.  Thats all.

Meatballs

Mom and I made meatballs the other night, and to make sure they cooked evenly, we had to weigh each and every one, they must weigh 1.5 oz.  And sometimes one of us would say something like, “this one will be on the button, or too light,” or visa versa.  But once I said, “Mom, how much do you think this will weigh?” Then mom said, ” 2.3 oz” And what does it weigh? 2.3oz!!!!!!!!!!!  I could just not get over it!  The meat balls were very good.  We ate them right after they were done, so I don’t have any pictures.

I also made coleslaw that night but I made one major booboo.  I added balsamic vinegar instead of apple cider vinegar!  I thought it would be terrible, but no, it tasted great.  I hope we use it again.
