Unbelievable Egg

Our third egg ever was very big. When we were opening the eggs for the first time we all wondering about that big egg because Sarah had read online that very young chickens can have double yoked eggs. I think that the Australorp hen (the black one) laid it because we read online that they are very good egg lairs. Then when we opened this egg this is what we found.

Then we cooked it and Daniel ate it with toast.

All the other eggs just looked like any other egg.

Gullible Daniel

Daniel has been getting into a very bad habit of licking his lips, so Landon told him that his lips would fall off if he did’t stop licking them. And since then I haven’t seen Daniel licking his lips as much. This morning, Daniel came up to mom and mom told him that John got a red ring around his mouth when he licked his lips. Daniel said, “Did John have to get new lips when his fell off?” Then mom said, “No, but they just hurt really bad.”

Our First Eggs

Landon went out to the chicken coop this morning to talk to the chickens and take them out of their coop;  and with out looking he stumbled upon an egg!   Then Joseph went right out to look for more. Landon told him he would not find anymore ,but Joseph DID find an egg anyway.   So now we have two eggs we just don’t know which chickens laid it.

The Bead Battle

Sarah and I where given a jewelry beading kit for Christmas.  We made most of the designs in our kit so we went out to hobby lobby and spent $20 on more beads and supplies.  A  few days later we decided to sort all the different colors of beads into their own little bag, which was a hectic “Bead Battle.” So many beads, millions of beads.  Then Dominic came over to see me, and of corse he wanted in on the acton.  Him being there went better than I expected,  I  thought he was going to throw my beads on the floor and eat them, but he just sat there on my lap while I sorted the beads in to their color piles.  He put them into the bag one bead and a time and it actually went faster than before.

More “Bead Battle”

When I was making one of the bracelets in my kit the beads kept  falling off.  When I had finally finished putting on all the beads I tied the ends together and pulled them very tight.  With a sigh of relief I put the bracelet on my wrist and then bracelet shattered!  The beads went flying and some beads even broke.  I fell to the floor with my hands in the air.

P.S. I did eventual finish the bracelet after a hectic”Bead Battle”
